If you are working with something other than concrete then do your best to level out the sill. In the end the easiest way to correct this was to match the angle with a door seal that matched the color of the bookcase. Check this in multiple places.Ĭheck the Sill (or in my case floor) – My concrete floor was not level and I toyed with a few ways to correct for this. This is four total measurements, two on each side of the opening.Ĭheck Head Jam level – Hold 2′ level flat against the top jam (the side facing downwards. Vertical Measurement – Place the 6′ level along the outer edge of each jamb (the side that is facing the room) and make sure that the bubble is level.
